Custom Composites has been in business for 30 years and serving the needs of fire apparatus manufacturers for the last 20 years. We offer fiberglass and polypropylene tanks in standard configurations or custom. We are centrally located in the United States, which saves you money on shipping and you get your tanks faster. The Custom Composites staff is highly experienced and motivated to build your tank to the highest standards. Our tanks are, for the most part, custom made to the exact specifications of our clients, not taken off the shelf for you to make do with. A custom tank without the custom price. You supply us with your drawings and/or specifications, so you get exactly what you want. If you're not quite sure what you need, our professional design team will assist you. However, we do offer some standard tanks for you to choose from to simplify the buying process.
Our fiberglass tanks come with a high gloss red gelcoat and polypropylene tanks come in standard 1/2" black. Other colors available if needed. We have an excellent warranty and technicians that can modify your tank in the field, should you need it. So whether it's a 50 gallon slip-in unit, a 3,000 gallon T-tank, or anything in between, give us a call. Let us be your "ONE STOP SHOP" for fire apparatus tanks.

The promotional videos below show the equipment we use to weld fire apparatus tanks. These videos were provided by Wegener Welding, the manufacturer of our Extrusion Welders, Hand Welders and Butt Welder.
95% Of Our Polypropylene Tanks Are Custom At A Standard Price. Fully Extrusion Welded Inside and Out, No Hand Welding Here! Which is stronger 1/4" thick weld or 1/2" thick weld? We agree, so 6 years ago we decided to use the 1/2" thick weld exclusively.
If you work for a fire department and get a price from one of our distributors first, then we cannot bid your tank, this keeps us from competing against our distributors.
We have one extra 500 gallon tank ready for delivery $3364.00, this includes the 10 gallon foam cell and pump platform sheet.
